David J. Koukol is a partner at Koukol Johnson Schmit & Milone, LLC. His practice focuses on helping families and businesses during times of change.
David’s primary practice areas are commercial law; bankruptcy; banking law; collections; corporate; real estate; probate; guardianship/conservatorship; personal injury; and aviation law. He has spoken at numerous seminars regarding judgment enforcement, real estate, and creditors’ rights in bankruptcy.
David is licensed to practice law in Nebraska and Iowa, and is a member of the Omaha Bar Association, the Nebraska and Iowa State Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska, the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for Nebraska and the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eight Circuit. Koukol is private pilot, single engine land, since 1996, and a Panel Attorney for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association Legal Services Plan.
David has a long list of activities and community involvement. He has also taught courses at the University of Nebraska at Omaha on “How to Take the LSAT” and at Metropolitan Community College on “Bankruptcy, Credit and Collection Law.”
