Tyler A. Masterson was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. During High School, he attended Pueblo Community College and obtained his associates degree in Business. After graduating from High School and Pueblo Community College, he transferred to the University of New Mexico, where he bowled collegiately and completed his Bachelor’s Degree, with an emphasis in Marketing, in two years.
Tyler was a law clerk for National Indemnity Company, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, during his first year of law school. He began clerking at Koukol & Johnson in 2016 when he was a second-year law student. After graduating from Creighton University School of Law in 2018, he joined the firm as an associate attorney. Tyler is admitted to practice law in both Nebraska and Colorado.
Tyler’s areas of practice include business formation and planning; creditor-side bankruptcy; contracts; landlord/tenant law; real estate law; equine law; administrative law; NEOC, employment, and fair housing law; probate, estate planning, and trust administration.
Tyler is a member of the Robert M. Spire Inns of Court and supports the Volunteer Lawyers Project – Nebraska Help Desk. He has had an article published in the Nebraska Lawyer Magazine and has been a speaker at the Nebraska State Bar Association.
When he’s not working, Tyler enjoys cooking, golfing, bowling, country swing dancing, riding horses, and hiking with his dog Oakley.
